Health risks & DSE

  • Musculoskeletal Problems – arms, wrists, back etc.
  • Headaches.
  • Eye fatigue & tiredness.
  • DSE associated health risks.
  • DSE risk assessment and the organizations responsibilities.

DSE Risk Assessment

  • What should DSE risk assessment include?
  • How do we communicate DSE risk assessment and why?
  • How often should DSE risk assessment be reviewed?
  • How do we consider home working?
  • How do we consider at a fixed workstation?
  • How do we consider mobile workers?
  • How do we consider home workers?
  • How do we consider hot-desking? (workers should carry out a basic risk assessment if they change desks regularly).

Certification

A multiple choice assessment will be given at the end of this course to knowledge check understanding and requirements of DSE. A certificate of achievement will be awarded at the end of this course on successful assessment with a recommendation for annual refresher.
