Level 2 Manual Handling Course (Principles and Practice) – 1 Day
Manual handling activities, such as lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing, are common in many workplaces. These tasks can be further complicated by actions like climbing or pivoting. Incorrect manual handling techniques contribute to over one million lost working days annually and significant personal injury. Learning proper manual handling techniques via our Manual Handling Course is crucial for reducing these risks and preventing injuries.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has long recognized the risks associated with manual handling, as reflected in their regulations and guidelines promoting safe practices. Employers are required to provide comprehensive health and safety training, including specific instruction on manual handling risks and prevention.
Our Level 2 Manual Handling Course offers a practical approach to mastering safe and effective manual handling techniques, aligning with HSE recommendations. This course not only helps meet legal requirements but also fosters a culture of safety and efficiency in any workplace setting.
