Abrasive Wheels Training – 1 Day
Abrasive wheels carry their own specific requirements, which are detailed in HSG17 by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This Abrasive Wheels training course is designed to help employers meet their obligations under HSG17 for employees using abrasive wheels on equipment such as angle grinders, bench grinders, precision grinding machines, and cut-off machines. The course covers essential safety practices, including proper handling, mounting, and maintenance of abrasive wheels, as well as understanding the associated risks and compliance with safety regulations.
It is a classroom course, but involves lots of practical elements as detailed below. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to apply theoretical knowledge, ensuring they can safely and effectively use abrasive wheels in real-world scenarios. This approach not only reinforces learning but also equips individuals with the confidence and skills needed to enhance workplace safety and reduce the risk of accidents.
