Working at Height (Ladder/Step Ladder) Course
This 1 day, working at height (ladder/step ladder) course, is specifically designed for any person who is involved with working at height and specifically from ladders and steps. Covering the basic principles of safe working at height along with the safe use of ladders and steps, the training also covers the inspection, fitting and use of fall restraint harnesses and work positioning.

By the end of the course the delegate will be able to display an understanding of:

- Selection, inspection and use of fall restraint harnesses & work positioning.
- Safe erection of ladders.
- Safe use of ladders.
- Storage.
- How and when to use a ladder at work.
- How to check your ladder is safe before you use it.
- Where ladders should be used.
- Securing ladders and ladders used for access.
- Inspecting the condition of ladders.
Certification
There will be both practical and theory assessments on this course and delegates will receive a working at height (ladder/step ladder) certification valid for 3 years, after which a 1 day refresher course is recommended.
